Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the side trim panel in the back of the luggage compartment on the right side. Refer to Interior Trim .
There may be an additional bracket for other control modules, depending on the engine.
The Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540- is clipped in under the bracket.
In this case the bracket must be removed.
-- Remove the nuts.
-- Slide the locking mechanism for the connection -2- forward.
-- Remove the electronic parking brake control module -1- with the plug connector.
-- Disconnect the connector from the Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-.
-- Remove the Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540- from the vehicle.
