Mount, Removing And Installing, Brake Booster Push Rod: Installing

-- Insert the push rod mount and the bearing shell into the brake pedal.
CAUTION:
The bearing shell -11- must fit inside the mount -12- in order for the brake booster push rod to fit correctly in its mount.
The mount must engage audibly.
Clip the brake pedal to the brake booster.
-- Hold the ball head of push rod in front of the mount and push the brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so the ball head locates audibly.
-- Install the Brake Lamp Switch -F-. Refer to Brake Lamp Switch -F-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the footwell vent.
-- Install the storage compartment under the instrument panel on the driver side. Refer to Interior Equipment .
Check the function of the Brake Lamp Switch -F- after installing it and before driving the vehicle.
CAUTION:
Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle.
