Check Valve With Vacuum Hose In Plenum Chamber, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery terminal. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the tower brace (Engine compartment). Refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Releases the retainer in direction of -arrow A- and open the cover in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Remove the nuts -2, 3 and 4- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the connector -1- from the bracket and disconnect it.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove Terminal 30 Wire Junction 2 -TV22- from the plenum chamber bulkhead and move to the side.

CAUTION:

There is a Risk of damaging the vacuum hoses.

Carefully remove the vacuum hoses. A damaged vacuum hose must be replaced.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -arrow- from the plenum chamber bulkhead.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-, if equipped.

-- Remove the check valve with the vacuum hose -2- to do so remove from the vacuum hose.
