Remove the Protective Sleeve

-- Clamp the gas-filled strut in the vise.
-- Use the Window Cutter VAG 1561A and Window Cutter - Saw Blade - 83 mm VAG 1561/26 to cut open the protective sleeve -1- length wise.
-- Cut the end of the protective sleeve free along the circumference.
-- Fold the protective sleeve upward and remove.
