To reduce the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the fuel injection and preglow system, always observe the following:
- Individuals with a pacemaker must not stay in the danger area of high voltage systems, for example Piezo systems, xenon light.
- The ignition must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting injection and preglow system wiring or tester cables.
- Fuel lines must not be opened when engine is running.
- Wash the engine only when the ignition is turned off.
- During some checks it is possible that the Engine Control Module (ECM) will detect and store a fault. After completing all testing and repairs, "check the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory".
