Right Engine Oil Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

Audi RS6: 

-- Remove the right headlamp, refer to Description And Operation .

-- Remove the front right wheel spoiler, refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

Audi RS7: 

-- Remove the front bumper cover, refer to Front Bumper .

Continuation for All Vehicles: 

-- Open the retaining tabs in direction of -arrows-, remove the air duct -1- from the front.

-- Remove the nut -arrow- and free up the coolant line.

NOTE: Ignore -items 2 and 4-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the right auxiliary cooler -1- with the coolant hoses still attached -arrows- and tie them up front.

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit SMN 372500 underneath.

-- Remove the nut -1- and the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove and free up the oil lines from the engine oil cooler.

-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set VAS 6122.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-, and remove the engine oil cooler with bracket -1-.

-- To replace the engine oil cooler remove the bolts -arrows-, and remove the brackets -1, and 2-.
