Overview - Cylinder Block, Transmission Side

NOTE:

For assembly work, secure the engine on the Engine And Transmission Holder VAS6095, refer to ENGINE, SECURING ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

  1. Drive Plate
    • With the bearing flange
    • Check the running surfaces on the bearing flange and the clutch module holes for cracks and signs of wear.
    • Removing and installing, refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  2. Bolt
    • 60 Nm +90°
    • Replacing
  3. Needle Bearing
  4. Sensor Wheel
    • For Engine Speed Sensor -G28-
      CAUTION:

      There is a risk of destroying the sensor wheel by magnetic force.

      • Do not place the sensor wheel near magnets (for example inspection lamp base, or speakers).
      • If the drive plate/flywheel or the sensor wheel removes on its own or is replaced, before installing the sensor wheel function must be checked, refer to SENSOR WHEEL, CHECKING .
    • Removing and installing, refer to SENSOR WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • Checking, refer to SENSOR WHEEL, CHECKING .
