Overview - Accessory Ribbed Belt, Ribbed Belt Drive

- Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt-tip marker
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ACCESSORY RIBBED BELT .
- Do not kink
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the ribbed belt pulleys
- Generator
- Removing and installing, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
- Idler Roller
- 40 Nm
- For the ribbed belt
- Bolt
- Tightening specification -item 2- OVERVIEW - COOLANT PUMP/THERMOSTAT => List Item:Bolt .
- Ribbed Belt Pulley
- For the coolant pump
- Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification -item 1- OVERVIEW - COOLANT PUMP/THERMOSTAT => List Item:Bolt .
- Coolant Pump
- Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Vibration Damper
- With ribbed belt pulley
- Installation only possible in one position.
- Removing and installing, refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Tensioner
- 40 Nm
- For the ribbed belt
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ACCESSORY RIBBED BELT .
- Left Engine Support
- With A/C compressor bracket
- Bolt
- Tightening specification -item 4- OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT => List Item:Bolt .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification -item 5- OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT => List Item:Bolt .
- Bolt
- Tightening specifications, refer to A/C COMPRESSOR .
- A/C Compressor
- Do not unfasten/separate refrigerant lines
- Removing and Installing, refer to A/C COMPRESSOR .
- Alignment Sleeves
- Bolt
- 20 Nm +90°
- Replacing
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- diagonally in stages to 9 Nm.
