Vibration Damper, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace any bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

Install the bolts with locking compound; Locking compound .

Clean the threaded holes with a thread tap.

-- Be careful of the alignment sleeve when installing the vibration damper.

-- Install the ribbed belt, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Audi S6/RS6/RS7:

-- Install the radiator, with the fan shroud, refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI S6/S7 .

Audi S7:

-- Install the fan shroud, refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
