Flange Shaft Seals, Rear Final Drive Removed: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Be sure to note the following:

Install Right Shaft Seal.

-- Coat the outer circumference and the sealing lips on the shaft seal with ATF.

-- Install the new shaft seal all the way without tilting it.

Install Left Shaft Seal.

-- Coat the outer circumference and the sealing lips on the shaft seal with ATF.

-- Install the new shaft seal all the way without tilting it.

-- Install the flange shaft.

NOTE:

If it is not possible to install the flange shaft all the way on by hand, then use a plastic hammer.

-- Tighten the new bolts to the tightening specification -item 1-  REAR FINAL DRIVE OVERVIEW => List Item:Bolt.

-- Install rear final drive. Refer to REAR FINAL DRIVE .

-- Check the ATF level in the rear final drive. Refer to ATF LEVEL IN REAR FINAL DRIVE 0BF AND 0BE, CHECKING .
