Overview - Final Drive

Torque Converter
- Assembly Overview, refer to OVERVIEW - TORQUE CONVERTER .
Shaft Seal
- For the torque converter
- Replacing. Refer to TORQUE CONVERTER SEAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Shaft Seal
- For the left flange shaft
- Between the final drive and the transmission housing
- Replacing. Refer to LEFT SEAL, REPLACING .
Shim
- Behind the taper roller bearing outer race
Taper Roller Bearing Outer Race
Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2
Shaft Seal
- For the right flange shaft
- Replacing, refer to RIGHT SEAL, REPLACING .
Locking Ring
- Replacing
Right Flange Shaft
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Sealing Plug
- For the hole for checking and filling
- For the transmission fluid inside the front final drive
- Tightening specification, refer to -item 5-.
Cover
- For the front final drive
- Pay attention to the alignment sleeves
- Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT FINAL DRIVE COVER O-RING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Shim
- Behind the taper roller bearing outer race
Taper Roller Bearing Outer Race
O-Ring
- On the front final drive cover
- Replacing
Differential
Transmission
Spring Pin
- Removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR SHAFT SEAL, REPLACING .
Gearshift Lever
- Removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR SHAFT SEAL, REPLACING .
Shaft Seal
- On the selector lever
- Replacing. Refer to SELECTOR SHAFT SEAL, REPLACING .
Left Flange Shaft
- Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 24 Nm
- Steel bolt
Bracket
- For the left flange shaft
- Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT DRIVE FLANGE BALL BEARING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Ball Bearing
- For the left flange shaft
- Replacing. Refer to LEFT DRIVE FLANGE BALL BEARING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Circlip
- Replacing

-- Tighten the bolts in two steps in the sequence shown.

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification
1.	-1- and -6-	3 Nm
2.	-1 to 11-	23 Nm
