Overview - Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Circuit: Notes

CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to the transmission.

  • Remove all the plugs on the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipes and on the transmission that were installed during removal.
  • The Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.

  1. Clip
  2. O-Ring
    • Replacing
    • Coat with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) before installing
  3. Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Cooler
  4. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
  5. O-Ring
    • Replacing
    • Coat with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) before installing
  6. Clip
  7. O-Ring
    • Replacing
    • Coat with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) before installing
  8. Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) line
    • Cleaning. Clean out the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipes using compressed air (maximum 10 bar).
    • Install all the way by hand with new O-rings.
  9. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
    • First insert the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipes with new O-rings by hand as far as the stop
    • The retaining tab on the lower Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipe must lie on the transmission threads
    • The retaining tab on the upper Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipe must touch the lower one.
  10. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
  11. O-Ring
    • Replacing
    • Coat with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) before installing
  12. Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) line
    • Cleaning. Clean out the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipes using compressed air (maximum 10 bar).
    • Install all the way by hand with new O-rings.
  13. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
