Heater Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N279-, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:
There is a risk of scalding from hot steam and coolant.
- The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
- To reduce the pressure, cover the coolant reservoir cap with several cloths and then open it carefully.
-- Open the coolant reservoir cap -arrow-.
-- Turn off the parking heater.
-- Remove the plenum chamber cover, refer to Bulkhead .
-- Remove the fresh air intake air shroud, refer to FRESH AIR INTAKE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -B-.
-- Mark the location of the coolant hoses.
-- Cover the area under the shut-off valve with absorbent cloths or paper.
-- Clamp off the coolant hoses -C, D and E- with the Hose Clamps - Up To 25 mm 3094 and remove them from the shut-off valve by loosening the hose clamps.
-- Remove the bolts -F- and remove the shut-off valve -A- from the bracket -G-.
