Connecting Brace, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bumper cover mount. Refer to BUMPER COVER MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES THROUGH MY 2014 or BUMPER COVER MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES FROM MY 2015 .
-- Remove the connector -3- to the front Airbag Crash Sensor while observing the safety precautions. Refer to PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
-- Drill out the rivet head -1- and strike the rivet shaft.
-- Loosen the bolt -4-, remove the bolt -2- and remove the connecting brace -5-.
