Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing, Audi A6: Removing

-- Remove the lock carrier cover, refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air guide -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -1-.

-- Remove the front noise insulation, refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bumper cover end plate, refer to BUMPER COVER END PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI A7/S7 .

-- Remove the auxiliary cooler, refer to AUXILIARY COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS 6208 under engine.

-- Remove the drain plug -1- and drain the coolant.

-- Lift the clip -2- and disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator.

-- Open the clamp -arrow- and remove the connection from the radiator.

-- Remove the coolant fan connector -1- from the bracket and disconnect it by sliding the retainer back in direction of -arrow- and pressing the release down.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -1- and remove the radiator console with the radiator from the lock carrier -arrow-.

-- Move the radiator slightly forward.

-- Push the left and right locking latches for the fan shroud at the same time -arrow- and lift the fan shroud upward from the radiator and remove from underneath.
