Right Coolant Pipe On Transmission, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the rear engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Free up the fuel hose -1- and the EVAP canister hose -2- on the air duct pipe.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -3- from the air guide pipe connection.
-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-, and remove the right subframe heat shield -1-.
Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.
- The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
- Cover the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and then open it slowly to release the pressure.
-- Remove the cap -arrow- from the coolant reservoir.
-- Remove the rear noise insulation, refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS 6208 under separating point.
Vehicles with 7-speed DSG Transmission 0B5:
-- Clamp off the coolant hose -1- with the Hose Clamp - Up To 25 mm 3094.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the coolant hose -3- and the hose clamp up to 25 mm diameter 3094 from the right coolant pipe on the transmission.
-- Loosen the clamp -2- and remove the coolant pipe on the right wheel housing.
Vehicles with 8-Speed Automatic Transmission 0BK:
-- Clamp off the coolant hose -1- with the Hose Clamp - Up To 25 mm 3094.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the coolant hose -3- and the hose clamp up to 25 mm diameter 3094 from the right coolant pipe on the transmission.
-- Loosen the clamp -2- and remove the coolant pipe on the right wheel housing.
