Front Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the gaskets and O-rings.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

-- Clean or smooth the seal and O-ring sealing surfaces.

-- Coat the sealing rings and O-rings with coolant and then mount them on the coolant pipe.

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling, refer to Figure.

-- Install the ribbed belt, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ACCESSORY RIBBED BELT .

-- Install the left front coolant pipes, refer to Installing .

-- Install the lock carrier cover, refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE: Do not reuse used coolant.

-- Fill the coolant, refer to FILLING .
