Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-, Installing And Removing, Vehicles With A Turbocharger: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the O-rings.

Protect the exhaust gas temperature sensor against knocks and impacts. A dropped exhaust gas temperature sensor may not be used again.

Coat the thread with hot bolt paste

-- Install the plenum chamber bulkhead, refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
