Roof Trim Molding, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Open the front and rear doors.
-- Remove the door seal near the roof trim molding. Refer to OUTER DOOR SEAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the seal -1 and 4- from the roof trim molding as far as the B-pillar trim -5-.
-- Have a second technician hold the roof trim molding -2- to keep it from damaging the paint.
-- Drill out the rivet heads -3- and strike the rivet shaft.
NOTE:
Do not bend the roof trim molding.
The roof trim molding has an opening near the B-pillar trim.
-- Pull the roof trim molding -1- out of the clips -2- in the side window in direction of -arrow-.
-- Remove the roof trim molding.
