Front Axle: Notes

NOTE: This test must be performed with vehicle raised (wheels hanging).

You should not feel or see any play.
Check all around the ball joint boots -2- for damage and correct seating. Use a mirror, if necessary.

Ball joint boots can usually be recognized by leaking lubrication.
