Brake Pads, Thickness, Checking

NOTE:
Use the thin measuring pin (brake symbol) to measure the brake pad thickness.

WARNING:
If the pad thickness has reached the wear limit, replace the pads. Repair measures: Inform the customer!
-- Slide the sliding ring all the way in the direction of the measuring point.
-- Place the tip of the test pin on the brake rotor.
-- Slide the test pin evenly in the direction of the brake pad until the test pin touches the brake pad backing plate.
-- Carefully remove the test pin and read the value on the scale.
NOTE:
Make sure the sliding ring does not move, otherwise the measurement will be incorrect.
It is required to remove the wheels for specific tire combinations. Refer to WHEEL BOLTS TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
