Rear Axle

NOTE:

Vehicles with: Brake caliper with two bleed screws.

If there are two bleeder screws, first connect the inner bleeder screw and then the outer.

-- Remove both bleeder screw caps -1- from the rear left brake caliper.

-- Select the VAS 6564 ratchet and the corresponding socket wrench and connect them.

-- Guide the bleed hose -1- out of the VAS 6564 from the inside of the wheel rim through the ratchet -2- and the socket wrench -3-, and attach it to the bleeder screw.

-- Open the bleeder screw using the ratchet -2- and drain the corresponding brake fluid quantity (see Sequence and Brake Fluid Capacity Table ).

-- Close bleeder screw.

-- Guide the bleed hose -1- out of the VAS 6564 from the outside of the wheel rim through the ratchet -2- and the socket wrench -3-, and attach it to the bleeder screw.

-- Open the bleeder screw using the ratchet -2- and drain the corresponding brake fluid quantity (see table).

-- Close bleeder screw.

-- Install the bleeder screw cap on the brake caliper.

-- Repeat the steps for the rear right.
