Brake Fluid Level, Depending On Brake Pad Wear, Checking: Inspection

NOTE:
Use only new Original VW / Audi brake fluid.
WARNING:
- Brake fluid must never come into contact with fluids containing mineral oils (oil, gas, cleaning solutions). Oils containing minerals damage seals and rubber grommets on brake systems.
- Brake fluid is poisonous. Do not let brake fluid come into contact with paintwork.
- Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning that it absorbs moisture from the surrounding air, and must therefore always be stored in air-tight containers.
- Rinse off any leaking brake fluid with water.
- Do not reuse used / extracted brake fluid!
- Follow all disposal regulations.
NOTE:
When driving, fluid level drops slightly from use and automatic brake pad adjustment. Always check fluid level in conjunction with brake pad wear.
-- Check the brake fluid level based on the brake pad wear:
- Brake pads (almost) new: Brake fluid level is near the MAX mark.
- Brake pad wear display almost reached: Brake fluid level is between the MIN and MAX markings.
WARNING:
If brake fluid level is below MIN mark, check brake system (repair procedure), before adding brake fluid.
