Right Coolant Pipe On Transmission, Removing And Installing: Removing
Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.
- The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
- Cover the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and then open it slowly to release the pressure.
-- Remove the cap -arrow- from the coolant reservoir.
-- Remove the rear noise insulation, refer to Noise Insulation .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the right heat shield -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the right drive axle heat shield.
Vehicles with DSG Transmission 0B5:
-- Fold the heat shield boot slightly upward.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.
-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS 6208 under separating point.
-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- to remove the coolant hoses for the coolant pipe on the right side of the transmission and then remove the coolant pipe.
Vehicles with an Automatic Transmission 0BK:
-- Fold the heat shield boot slightly upward.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.
-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS 6208 under separating point.
-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- to remove the coolant hoses for the coolant pipe on the right side of the transmission and then remove the coolant pipe.
