Timing Chain Guard Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to BULKHEAD . .

-- Remove the right cylinder head cover.

• Refer to CYLINDER HEAD COVER RIGHT, INSTALLING AND REMOVING, Vehicles With A Turbocharger 
• Refer to CYLINDER HEAD COVER RIGHT, INSTALLING AND REMOVING, Vehicles With Two Turbochargers

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3-.

-- Loosen the air guide pipe -1- and remove the coolant hose.

-- Press the air guide pipe downward.

-- Remove bolt -1- in the intermediate pipe.

-- Loosen the clip -3- and remove the air guide hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the right guide pipe from the bypass valve, at the same time remove the intermediate pipe -1- from the turbocharger.

-- Move the guide pipe to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the bracket -1-.

-- Loosen bracket -1- and remove bypass valve -2-.

-- Loosen the bolts in sequence -7 to 1-.

-- Carefully loosen the upper timing chain cover from the bond and remove.
