NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten the bolts in five steps in the sequence shown.

Step Bolts Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1. -1, 2, and 3- Install by hand all the way
2. -4 to 7- Install by hand all the way
3. -1 to 7- 8 Nm
4. -1 to 7- 8 Nm - this measurement takes into account the timing chain cover shrinkage.
5. -1 to 7- 90° additional turn
