Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

- Engine oil is drained.
For the location of the type plate and vehicle data label:
The type plate is on the door post on the front passenger side. Vehicles for certain export countries do not have a type plate.
The vehicle data label is in the luggage compartment under the luggage compartment in the spare wheel well on the left side.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- on the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.
CAUTION:
There is a risk of contamination.
- There is still a residual amount of oil in lower section of oil pan.
-- Loosen and remove the bolts in the following sequence: -15 to 1-.
-- Loosen and remove the oil pan lower section carefully from the adhesive.
