Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
The Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- does not have sealing ring, but rather a biting edge and therefore cannot be used again.
Check the new Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- for damage to biting edge and thread.
Check the sealing surface on the hole inside the fuel rail.
Coat the biting edge of the threaded insert and the O-ring for the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- with diesel fuel.
-- Align the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- so that connecting the connector -arrow- does not cause the electrical wiring to be placed under tension.
-- Tighten the union nut using the :T10553 to do so counterhold on the housing hex fitting at the same time.
-- Replace gaskets on fuel return line banjo bolts and tighten to 25 Nm.
-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Check the fuel system for leaks. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM LEAK TEST .
Perform an adaptation after replacing the high pressure pump and / or the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
