- Y pipe
- Original equipment as one unit with rear mufflers.
- The Y pipe and the rear muffler can be replaced individually if a repair is required.
- Separating point between Y pipe and rear muffler. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, SEPARATING .
- Align the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .

- Replace if damaged.

- Front Exhaust Pipe
- With decoupling element, decoupling element must not be bent more than 10° - otherwise it may be damaged
- Protect from shocks and impact stress
- Removing and installing. Refer to EXHAUST PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH TWO TURBOCHARGERS. .
- Align the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
- Catalytic Converter
- With Catalytic Converter Heater 1 -Z119- /Catalytic Converter Heater 2 -Z120-
- Individual components of suspension, refer to 24, illustration.
- Removing and installing. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH TWO TURBOCHARGERS .

- Particulate Filter with NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter
- Removing and installing. Refer to PARTICULATE FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH TWO TURBOCHARGERS. .
- After replacing, perform an Adaptation in Guided Functions . Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- 23 Nm
- Front clamping sleeves
- Before tightening, align exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
- Installed position, refer to 24, illustration.
- Tighten threaded connections evenly.

- Replace if damaged.
- Check pretension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .

- Rear Muffler
- Right with Engine Sound Generator Actuator 1 -R257-
- Left with Engine Sound Generator Actuator 2 -R258-
- Original equipment as one unit with double pipe.
- The double pipe and the rear muffler can be replaced individually if a repair is required.
- Separating point between double pipe and rear muffler. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, SEPARATING .
- Removing and installing. Refer to MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Align the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
- Rear Clamping Sleeve
- For individual replacement of double pipes and rear mufflers
- Before tightening, align exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
- Installed position, refer to 17, illustration.
- Tighten threaded connections evenly.
