1. Y Pipe
   • Original equipment as one unit with rear mufflers.
   • The Y pipe and the rear muffler can be replaced individually if a repair is required.
   • Separating point between Y pipe and rear muffler. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, SEPARATING .
   • Align the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
2. Suspended Mount
   • Replace if damaged.
   • Check pretension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
3. Front Exhaust Pipe
   • With decoupling element, decoupling element must not be bent more than 10° - otherwise it may be damaged
   • Protect from shocks and impact stress
   • Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT EXHAUST PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Exhaust system, installing without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
4. Gasket
   • Replace
5. Particulate Filter
   • With catalytic converter
   • Individual components of mounting:
   • After replacing, perform an Adaptation  in Guided Functions  using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
6. Nut
   • 23 Nm
   • Always replace
   • Coat the thread with hot bolt paste.
7. Gasket
   • Always replace
8. Turbocharger
9. Nut
   • 23 Nm
   • Always replace
10. Front Clamping Sleeve
    • Before tightening, align exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
    • Installed position. Refer to  17
    • Tighten threaded connections evenly.
11. Nut
    • 23 Nm
12. Rear Muffler
    • Original equipment as one unit with Y pipe
    • The Y pipe and the rear muffler can be replaced individually if a repair is required.
    • Separating point between Y pipe and rear muffler. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, SEPARATING .
    • Align the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
13. Trim
    • For the tail pipe
    • Push all the way onto the tail pipe
14. Suspended Mount
    • Replace if damaged.
    • Check pretension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
15. Nut
    • 23 Nm
16. Rear Clamping Sleeve
    • Tighten threaded connections evenly.
    • For individual replacement of Y pipe and rear mufflers
    • Before tightening, align exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
    • Installed position. Refer to  17
17. Nut
    • 23 Nm

Clamping Sleeves (Exhaust)

• Installed position: the threaded connectors face outward.
• Angle -α- = 10°.

-- Install double clamps so that the bolt ends do not project over lower edge of double clamp.

• Installed position: the threaded connectors face forward.
