Left Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals and self-locking nuts.

-- Tighten the nuts for the exhaust manifold, vehicles with a turbocharger. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the coolant line with the connector coupling. Refer to illustration of coupling below.

-- Install the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-. Refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the particulate filter (refer to PARTICULATE FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) or install the catalytic converter (refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH TWO TURBOCHARGERS ).
