Right Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing
The engine mount and engine mount actuator make up one unit.
Danger of causing damage to electronic components.
- Complete the steps for disconnecting the battery.
-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery terminal. Refer to BATTERY . .
-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLED POSITION .
-- Remove the right front wheel. Refer to WHEELS/TIRES/TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING ASSEMBLY . .
-- Remove the front left and right wheel housing liners. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER . .
-- Remove the left and right front wheel spoiler. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER . .
-- Remove the oil filter element.
-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and lower the stabilizer bar.
-- Remove the nut -2- and push the ground wire aside.
Ignore item -1 and arrows-.
-- Free up the wire from the right engine support.
-- Remove the connector -arrow- from the mount, disconnect it, and then guide it through the subframe.
Audi S6/S7
-- Remove the right nut -1- and remove the bracket with the wiring harness from the subframe.
Ignore item -2-.
Audi RS6/RS7
-- Remove the right bolt -arrow-, free up the bracket with the wiring harness.
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Disconnect the connectors -2 and 3- and free up the wires.
-- Remove the left and right bolts -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Lift the engine using the :10-222A/11 -1- to dimension -a-.
- Dimension -a- = approximately 20 mm.
-- Remove the retaining plate for the engine mount and the right engine mount.
