Upper Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the O-ring.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

-- Clean and/or smooth the sealing surfaces of the O-rings.

-- Coat the O-ring with coolant and slide it onto the coolant pipe.

-- Install the intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles with a turbocharger: Install the turbocharger. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH A TURBOCHARGER .

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling. Refer to 23.

NOTE:

Do not reuse used coolant.

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to FILLING .
