Pinpoint Test N : U0155

N1 VERIFY CUSTOMER CONCERN

Ignition ON.

Verify that there is an observable symptom present.

Is an observable symptom present?

Yes	GO to N2.
No	The system is operating normally at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or intermittent fault condition.

N2 CHECK THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the network test.

Does the IPC pass the network test?

Yes	GO to N3.
No	REFER to Module Communications Network , The Instrument Panel Cluster(IPC) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.

N3 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE IPC SELF-TEST

Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the IPC self-test.

Is DTC U3003:16 or U3003:17 recorded?

Yes	REFER to Instrumentation, Message Center, and Warning Chimes .
No	GO to N4.

N4 RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM THE LTM SELF-TEST

Check the recorded results from the LTM self-test.

Is DTC B1317 or B1318 recorded?

Yes	For DTC B1317, GO to Pinpoint Test K .For DTC B1318, GO to Pinpoint Test L .
No	GO to N5.

N5 RECHECK THE LTM DTCs

NOTE: If new modules were installed prior to the DTC being set, the module configuration may be incorrectly set during PMI or the PMI may not have been carried out.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the DTCs and repeat the LTM self-test.

Is DTC U0155 still present?

Yes	GO to N6.
No	The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or intermittent fault condition.

N6 CHECK FOR DTC U0155 IN OTHER MODULES

Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear all DTCs.

Ignition OFF.

Ignition ON.

Wait 30 seconds.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve the continuous memory DTCs from all modules.

Is DTC U0155 set in other modules?

Yes	Refer to IPC Hardware Testing .
No	INSTALL a new LTM. REFER to Liftgate/Trunk Module (LTM) .
