Disassembly [08/2013 - ]

  1. REMOVE SWITCH BASE 
    1. Remove the 6 screws and switch base.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the instrument panel cup holder.
  3. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and shift position indicator.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the instrument panel cup holder sub-assembly.
  5. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and console compartment door sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION 
    1. Remove the 2 No. 1 console compartment door cushions.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
    1. Remove the clip and No. 2 console box duct.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX RETAINER 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the No. 1 console box retainer.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 BOX SIDE PANEL 
    1. Pull the No. 1 box side panel in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 3 claws (A).

    2. Pull the No. 1 box side panel in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the 4 claws (B) and remove the No. 1 box side panel.
  10. REMOVE NO. 2 BOX SIDE PANEL 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 box side panel.

  11. REMOVE NO. 3 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and No. 3 console box duct.

  12. REMOVE NO. 4 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 3 console box duct.

  13. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front upper console panel garnish.

  14. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 5
  15. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  16. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 BOX PLATE 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and 2 guides.
    3. Pull the upper No. 1 box plate in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

    4. Pull the upper No. 1 box plate in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws.
    5. Disengage the guide and remove the upper No. 1 box plate.
  17. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 BOX PLATE 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the upper No. 1 box plate.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION 
    1. Remove the No. 2 console compartment door cushion.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
