Convertible Top Compartment Cover Hydraulic Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Bring the convertible top into its service position. Refer to POSITION "1" : .

-- Release the securing tab -1- -arrow- open the bracket downward and remove the cable holder -7- from the lower ball pin.

-- Release the catch -6- and remove the cable holder with the wiring harness from the hydraulic cylinder -5-.

-- LIGHTLY LIFT THE LOCKING SPRING -3- AND REMOVE THE HYDRAULIC CYLINDER -2- FROM THE BALL PIN -4-. 

-- Remove The Hydraulic Cylinder.

If The Hydraulic Cylinder Is Being Replaced:

• Hydraulic Line, Removing. Refer to HYDRAULIC LINE ON CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
• Left hydraulic cylinder: free up the wiring harness and remove the Convertible Top Compartment -Open- Switch -F407-. Refer to CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT -OPEN- SWITCH -F407-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
