Hydraulic System, Bleeding With Brake Charger/Bleeding Unit: Procedure

-- Fill the brake fluid reservoir up to the "MAX" mark.

-- Connect the :VAS5234  or :VAS6860  to the :VAS5234/1  .

-- Attach the Brake Bleeder Adapter :VAS 5234/1A  on the brake fluid reservoir.

-- Set the correct pressure on the Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit :VAS 5234  or :VAS6860  .

Read the service information for :VAS5234  or :VAS6860  .

-- Remove the protective cap -3- from the bleed screw -1- on the respective brake caliper.

-- Connect the bleeder bottle hose -2- as shown.

NOTE:

Use a suitable bleeder hose. It must be seated tightly on the bleeder screw so that no air can enter the brake system.

Bleed the brake caliper at each bleeder screw.

Pay attention to the bleeding sequence for the fixed caliper. First bleed the outer then the inner bleed screw.
