Adjusting Buffer, Removing And Installing, A4 Sedan, A5 Coupe And A5 Cabriolet: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and Note The Following: 

TIP:

To secure the adjusting buffer, the Pop Rivet Screw:WHT 005 180  must be inserted using the :VAG1765C  and Pop Rivet Pliers - Supplement Pieces :VAG1765C/2  . -- Adjust the adjusting buffer. Refer to HEIGHT, ADJUSTING USING ADJUSTING BUFFER .

REAR LID ADJUSTING BUFFER

Install in reverse order of removal and Note The Following: 

-- Check the seal -2- between the adjusting buffer and the rear lid for damage.

-- Adjust the adjusting buffer. Refer to HEIGHT, ADJUSTING USING ADJUSTING BUFFER .
