-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
WARNING:
Danger of the airbag control module malfunctioning caused by corrosion on the connector.
- Seal the electric connector on the airbag control module to protect it from moisture.
-- Cover the airbag control module -4-.
-- Carefully move the carpet aside and cover it in the area under the condensation water hose with waterproof foil and water absorbing paper.
-- Remove the condensation water drain hose -3- from the heater and A/C unit -1- and the vehicle body -5-.
