Rear Seat Belt Guide, Removing And Installing, A3 SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the intermediate cover. Refer to INTERMEDIATE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A3 SPORTBACK .
-- Remove the sill panel. Refer to REAR SILL PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A3 SPORTBACK/SEDAN .
CAUTION:
- Do not rotate bolts -3- under any circumstances when removing and installing belt guide -1-. They are set by the manufacturer.
- Replace the entire seat belt guide if damaged.
-- Push the belt guide retaining hook -2- upward and hold it there.
-- Slide the belt guide -arrow- back until the bolt heads -1- can be disengaged from the bracket on the body.
-- Thread the seat belt webbing out and remove the seat belt guide.
