Knee Airbag With Igniter, Removing And Installing, Front Passenger Side: Removing

WARNING:
- Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING WITH PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS .
- Follow all regulations when disposing of pyrotechnic components. Refer to AIRBAG, BELT TENSIONER AND BATTERY CUT-OUT UNITS, STORING, TRANSPORTING AND DISPOSING (PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS) .
- Note the allocation of the airbag unit to the instrument panel.
-- Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the nuts -1-.
-- Remove knee airbag bracket -2-.
-- Remove the glove compartment liner -1-, to do this pry out the liner using :3409 .
-- Remove the nuts -2-.
-- Remove the knee air bag -3- downward from the glove compartment.
WARNING:
Set the airbag down so the impact cushion faces upward.
