- The threaded pins and contact surface must be free of paint, coating, and corrosion, the threaded connection serves as the ground connection for the airbag.
- Check that the threaded bushings are seated securely before installing the airbag CHECK THE THREADED BUSHINGS -1 AND 2- ARE SEATED CORRECTLY ON THE AIRBAG PINS: .
