Rearview Camera -R189-, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

The Rearview Camera -R189- has a trailing cable. The vehicle wiring harness couplings are located in the rear lid.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connectors -2 and 3-.

-- If necessary, unclip the connectors -2 and 3- from the anti-theft protection -1-.

-- Release the tab -4- on the anti-theft protection -1- and remove the anti-theft protection -1- from the rear lid.

The Rearview Camera -R189- -3- is firmly attached to the handle button.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -2- from the handle button.

-- Remove the nuts -4-.

-- Pull the handle button -1- with the Rearview Camera -R189- -3- out of the retainer in the rear lid.
