General Description - Mobile Online Services, Era-GLONASS, Pr Number NZ3

The mobile online services (NZ3) are based on the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- (OCU, Online Connectivity Unit).

The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is safeguarded against a crash by being installed behind the Instrument Cluster -KX2-. The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- contains an emergency call module and a compass module. A separate SIM card for the emergency call function is installed.

The mobile online services system is capable of OBD.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

When there are concerns about the function, it necessary to be familiar with the Mobile Online Services functions.
