Rear Lid Lower Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, A3/A3 SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Turn the quick release -1- 90° counter-clockwise and move the emergency triangle cover -2- to the side -arrow-.

-- Remove the emergency triangle.

-- Disengage the cover on the lower trim panel and remove it.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.

-- Trim without catches, release the retaining tab -2- with a small screwdriver and open the tab -3- in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Grasp with a hand in the trim -1- and remove from the rear lid using force -B arrows-.

-- Unclip the rest of the trim panel clips using the :80 - 200  and remove the trim panel.

-- If necessary, release the retaining tabs -A arrows- with a screwdriver, and remove the rear lid latch trim panel -1- -arrow B-.
