Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Removing

-- Fold the rear seat backrest forward.

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor.

-- Remove the lock carrier trim panel. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the tie down. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Versions with a side cushion: remove the side cushion. Refer to REAR SIDE PADDING WITH THORAX AIRBAG, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover for the luggage compartment side panel.

-- Remove the expanding clips -2-.

-- Remove the rear lid seal -1- near the luggage compartment side trim panel.

-- Pry the luggage compartment side trim panel -3- using the :80 - 200 from the body -arrows-.

-- Detach the luggage compartment side trim panel on the rear lid hinge.

-- Pull the luggage compartment side trim inward.

-- Vehicles from MY 2017: disconnect the connector for the power pivoting trailer hitch button.

-- Unclip the front luggage compartment side trim -1- from the sill panel strip -arrows-.

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim under the rear shelf -2-, disengage from the striker -3- for the backrest and remove.

-- If installed, disconnect the connector for the 12 V socket.
