- Press Piece - Multiple Use :VW447H
- Torque Wrench 1331 5-50 Nm :VAG1331
- Clamping Pliers :VAG1682
- Seal Installer - Bevel Box :T10243
- Three-Arm Puller :VAS251205 (previously Kukko 45-2)
- Copper or Brass Drift, commercially available
CAUTION:

Mandatory Replacement Parts
- Clamp - CV Joint Protective Boot to CV Joint
- Clamp - CV Joint Protective Boot to Drive Axle
- Locking Ring - Outer CV Joint to Drive Axle
- Clamp - CV Boot to Outer CV Joint
- Clamp - CV Boot to Drive Axle
- Bolt - Outer CV Joint to Drive Axle
-- Secure the drive axle with protective covers in a vise clamp.
-- Open both clamping sleeves and remove protective joint boot from outer joint.
-- Strike a copper or brass drift -A- on CV joint inner race with a hammer.
-- Remove joint and protective joint boot.
-- If installed, remove the spring washer -1- and spacer ring -2-.
