CAUTION:
There is a risk of damaging the subframe threaded connection threads on the body.
- The subframe bolts on the body must not be loosened or tightened with an impact wrench.
- Always install all bolts by hand for the first few turns.

- Subframe
- Subframe with attachments, removing and installing. Refer to REAR AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION VEHICLES WITH AWD .
- Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- On A3 Cabriolet nonreplicable aluminum bearing
- Replacing. Refer to SUBFRAME FRONT BONDED RUBBER BUSHING, REPLACING (MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION) .
- Bolt
- 70 Nm + 180° turn
- Always replace if removed
- Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
- On A3 Cabriolet nonreplicable aluminum bearing
- Replacing. Refer to SUBFRAME FRONT BONDED RUBBER BUSHING, REPLACING (MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION) .
- Bolt
- 70 Nm + 180° turn
- Always replace if removed
