Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, DISCHARGING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, EVACUATING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a) (Refrigerant R134a Servicing, Refrigerant Circuit, Working with A/C Service Station) or REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, DISCHARGING (R1234yf) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, EVACUATING (R1234yf) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING (R1234yf) .

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the tab -1- in direction of -arrow- and remove the cover.

Refrigerant lines from condenser to the inner heat exchanger and to the A/C compressor is available in different versions, depending on version of vehicle. One vehicles with a 2.5L TFSI engine (Audi RS3) in the refrigerant lines -1 and 3- additional connection locations -2 and 4- are installed. If necessary disconnect the refrigerant lines at these connection locations -2 and 4-. For bolts on the connection locations -2 and 4- the same tightening specifications apply as for the bolts on the refrigerant lines on the inner heat exchanger or on the condenser.
On vehicle with a 2.5L TFSI engine (Audi RS3) different versions of the refrigerant line from the condenser -1 and 3- can only be removed if necessary with the condenser removed, if necessary disconnect the refrigerant lines from the connection locations on the refrigerant lines -2 and 4-.
Danger Due To Refrigerant Coming Out Under Pressure.
Danger of frost bite to skin and other parts of the body.
- Evacuate the refrigerant and immediately open the refrigerant circuit afterward.
- If more than 10 minutes have elapsed since evacuating the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, evacuate the refrigerant again. Pressure in the refrigerant circuit is caused by evaporation.
-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3- and remove the refrigerant lines -1 and 4-.

Disconnect the connector to the sensor on a vehicle with a A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor -G395-. Refer to A/C PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G395-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .
