Overview - Vacuum Pump, 4-Cylinder TFSI Engine

Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
Always replace damaged nuts and bolts.
NOTE:
The 1.8L/2.0L TFSI engines have a mechanical vacuum pump. The illustration shows these engines.
The 1.6L/2.0L TDI engines have a mechanical vacuum pump that is combined into one unit with the oil pump. Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CRUA, DEJA] / OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNSB, CNTC] .

- High Pressure Pump
- Removing and Installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNSB, CNTC] .
- Seal
- Replace
- Vacuum Hose
- Vacuum Hose
- With Vacuum Sensor -G608-
- Replace the vacuum hose if damaged
- Vacuum Sensor -G608-, Removing and Installing. Refer to VACUUM SENSOR -G608-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-Ring
- Replace after removing.
- Coolant Line
- Bolt
- 9 Nm
- Vacuum Pump
- The vacuum pump is mechanically driven.
- Vacuum System, Checking. Refer to VACUUM SYSTEM, CHECKING .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to VACUUM PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
